Fall Pledge drive 2014: Donate to the Vision Academy!

Vision Academy is growing and we need your help. In four years we have grown from a small summer camp into a year-round program working with 200+ youth at 15 locations across San Francisco. In the last year alone we experienced growth of 275%! Proceeds from this fundraiser will help Vision Academy and ensure our continued growth. Click on the button below to learn more and donate!

+ More

The folks at the Vision Academy do a wonderful job of presenting Chess in a step-by-step manner that helps kids learn the powers of each piece and begin to understand the overall strategic depth of this wonderful and important game. My son loves his time at the Academy and his enthusiasm for all board games has grown with his understanding of Chess.
— Rennie, Parent of 1st Grader
Encouraged by other parents, I took my son hoping he would like it. He loved it so much, that he now volunteers and helps the Summer Camp staff whenever he can. The Vision Academy is a wonderful place, where children can learn and be themselves.
— Kathy, Parent of 6th Grader
The Vision Academy staff was absolutely top notch, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, caring and thoughtful about providing a balanced program to the children. We were impressed on so many levels. Starting their days out learning and playing Chess to warm-up their brain; offering educational games and fun, an art project, or an afternoon walk to the park. Our children loved every day and didn’t want to miss any of it. I cannot recommend this innovative approach highly enough.
— Kim, Parent of 4th Grader and two 5th Graders
At the Vision Academy, minds are stimulated, hearts are touched and spirits are nurtured through activities that encourage critical thinking and creativity.
